Wedding Information
When: Saturday, September 21st 2024. The ceremony starts at 4pm; the wedding reception will follow at the same location
Where: Villa Riso, located at Estrada da Gávea, 728; São Conrado; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Dress code: Formal attire is recommended (suit, long dresses, etc), but we want first and foremost for everyone to feel comfortable in what they are wearing!
Transportation to/ from wedding: There will be parking with valet service at the venue. The venue is easily reachable by taxi/ Uber as well. Staff will be available to help guests call taxis upon leaving the wedding

For OUT-OF-TOWN GUESTS, we are planning the following activities during the week of the wedding. Feel free to pick and choose what to partake in, nothing and everything are both okay!
• Guided morning hikes -- Tuesday 9/17 and Wednesday 9/18
- We would like to share two of our favorite Rio hikes with you. Both have breathtaking views of Rio and last about 2-3 hours round trip (moderate intensity)
(a) Morro Dois Irmãos on Tuesday 9/17 at 10am [this trail starts inside the Vidigal community / slum. It is safe, but adventurous in this sense]
(b) Pedra Bonita on Wednesday 9/18 at 10am

• Bar meet-up -- an informal gathering for whoever wants to come hang! — Thursday 9/19 @ 7:30pm, at Boteco Boa Praça (the one in Leblon): Rua Dias Ferreira, 12 - Leblon
Rua Dias Ferreira has many restaurants for whoever wants to grab dinner before or after
For INTERNATIONAL GUESTS, we have also organized:
• Brazilian food tour -- Thursday 9/19, approx. 9a - 2pm
- This is an incredibly well-curated journey through Brazilian food in Rio's old town with "Eatrio" (by Tom Le Mesurier)
- We partially subsidize this event but there is still a cost of 60 USD / 55 EUR per guest

• Welcome Lunch in Santa Teresa -- Friday 9/20 @ 1pm
